Bordano is the largest Butterfly House in Italy. It consists of 3 large air-conditioned greenhouses (for a total of 1,000 square meters), in which animals and plants of 3 specific tropical ecosystems thrive: 1) the African jungle, 2) the Asian and Australian rainforests, 3) the Amazon. In each greenhouse, a thousand butterflies belonging to hundreds of different species and coming from tropical countries around the planet fly free.
In addition to greenhouses, we set up spectacular exhibitions on themes relating to evolution, sustainability, animal and plant strategies.
